My friend Harvey is missing.

He has been missing since 6/26/97.

Search efforts for Harvey were entirely community organized. They started on 6/27 and ended on 6/30. The police have refused to search for him on the ground that he is a "presumed runaway".

Harvey did not run away.

We had just graduated. Harvey was excited to attend college and had no reason to skip town. His disappearance is extremely suspiscious and the police refuse to help. The private eye hired by his family has been no help and is only putting the community on edge. Overall, things are not looking good.

This site is a last-ditch effort to get some eyes on his case. I don't have a lot of hope, but I'm desperate.

I just want my friend back.
